  • Jan Krouse

    President

    Connection to Moss Bradley: Resident since 1996. Various positions held on the Board. Event organizer of Moss Avenue Sale & Festival for 25 years. Commissioner on the Historical Preservation Commission. I have a deep love for and a commitment to our neighborhood and truly believe our strength lies in the people who live here.

    Fun Facts:  My wild garden contains plants and objects from many MBRA neighbors!  Hostas, lilies, ferns, lily of the valley, wild ginger, chives, iris and many more. My favorite is the weathered wooden glider that used to be in Marjorie Klise’s backyard and now resides in mine.

  • Ralph Amen

    Vice President

    Connection to Moss Bradley: Although I've lived in the area forever, I only got involved in the neighborhood when I first volunteered at the WestMark Food Pantry nearly ten years ago. Three years ago, I was asked to join the MBRA Board and am in my second year as Vice-President.

    Fun Fact: Walking my dog has given me a chance to become acquainted with many great people in our interesting and diverse neighborhood.

  • Joanne Bannon

    Connection to Moss-Bradley: As a Peoria and West-Bluff native, I have a deep affinity for our city and neighborhood. I wholeheartedly believe that Moss-Bradley is the most neighborly place in our city!

    Fun Fact: My family calls me a “crazy bird lady” because I adore feeding and watching birds especially my summer hummingbirds! I enjoy cooking, reading, live music and theatre.

    Connection to Moss Bradley: Resident since 2021, passionate about preserving the historical charm of the neighborhood and fostering community engagement.

    Fun Fact: I love to golf, and I’m always doing DIY projects. I recently completed a 15x17 ft patio in my backyard. I love to dance all the time.

    Connection to Moss-Bradley: I moved here in 2017 and have really enjoyed getting to know our neighbors by helping out with the  many events and volunteer opportunities. 

    Fun Fact: I’m an old house purist and taught myself how to restore my wood windows. Also, I found my home while on a walk down Moss Ave after a picnic at Giant Oak Park.
